Salamanca…on my way..

So I chose between Lissabon or something else. As I’ve been there a few times I decided to continue my exploration of Spain. Now I am crossing the “Ruta de la Plata”..“the silver route”. It is one of Spain’s oldest and most iconic long-distance routes. It runs north–south across western Spain, linking Seville in Andalusia with Gijón on the northern coast. I will follow it to Salamanca where Inam planning to spend the night.

After this stop I plan to head west towards Portugal and the Douro River to Porto. More about that in due time…

Salamanca- it didn’t know much about it. For first. It’s chillier than Sevilla. C10 degrees, but the sun warms. It’s on a higher altitude, on a high plateau – the Meseta Central. Just as Madrid, though Madrid has closer to real mountains, So said Google.🤗
